SOAR Rising House is the housing program for SOAR Legacy, providing safe and supportive housing for youth aging out of foster care as they transition toward stability, independence, and long-term success.
SOAR Rising House was founded on a powerful belief: that no young person should be defined by their circumstances. Too many youth leave foster care without a safe place to live or a clear path forward. We exist to bridge that gap—offering not only housing, but a structured path toward healing, independence, and long-term success.

Christine L. Woody, M.H.Sc.
Founder, CEO & Author
Christine L. Woody is the Founder and CEO of SOAR Rising House, the housing program for SOAR Legacy, committed to empowering youth aging out of foster care to rise above life’s challenges and build stable, independent lives. With over a decade of experience in healthcare and leadership, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her mission of creating safe, supportive environments for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
Christine holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Health Science with a concentration in Administrative Leadership, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Health Science (D.H.Sc.). Her academic journey reflects her deep commitment to leadership, service, and systemic change.
As an Author, Christine uses her voice to inspire healing, growth, and resilience. Her work is rooted in faith, perseverance, and the belief that no one is defined by their past.
